Testing frequency is set by the code adopted in your jurisdiction and by the fire official with authority over your building, and different device types fall on different intervals. Rather than quote a number that may not apply to your occupancy, we will confirm what applies to your building and put the schedule on the calendar so it does not lapse.
Can you take over the fire alarm we already have?
Usually. We evaluate the existing panel and devices, confirm what is serviceable, take over the monitoring, and pick up the testing schedule. Buildings that changed hands or changed contractors are the most common case, and gaps in the test record are the first thing to close.
Do you handle the paperwork for inspections?

Yes. Sprinkler flow and valve tamper supervision are standard signals on a commercial fire system, and they are among the most important, because a closed valve is a sprinkler system that will not work when it is needed and nobody would otherwise know.
What is a supervisory signal?
It is a signal telling you the fire protection system itself has a problem, rather than telling you there is a fire. A closed sprinkler valve, a low air pressure condition or a failed device all report as supervisory. They are the signals that stop a small problem becoming the reason the system did not work.
Can you work in an occupied building?
Yes, and most commercial fire work is in occupied buildings. Testing produces noise, so we schedule it with you and notify the central station beforehand so a test does not become a dispatch. We do not leave notification devices out of service overnight.
